Absolutely hilarious! As an avid kilt wearer, the ideas and stories are spot on. Great coffee table book to get conversations going and perfect way to help explain "why we wear kilts". Every kilt wearer will find himself in at least one of the passages.
If you want a scholarly look into the customs of the Scottish people, keep looking. But if you want a nice casual read filled with witty commentary on the life unbifurcated, this is the book you want.
Recently had the good fortune to win signed copies of Kevin Thompsons’ Kiltology volumes 1&2 and just received them in the mail about a week ago. As a fellow member of the kilted universe who wears a kilt on a semi-regular basis, I found myself identifying with Kevin’s many anecdotes about kilted life, laughing merrily along as I read both books cover to cover. Kevin’s humor and words of wisdom are a must for those who don a kilt. I HIGHLY recommend picking up copies today!
